Nicnacs Working with transactions
Predictive text - when manually entering transactions - entering a few characters of a Payee will bring up a list of previous Payees beginning with those characters - click to select and autofill the Payee name.
Bank Genie applies the Expense Code used for the previous transaction (you can over-ride)
You can also add a new transaction by duplicating an existing transaction. You can go back a statement, copy a
transaction, return to original page and duplicate. This is very useful when you have a regular shop and the expense item is to be coded to the same “Paid To” name and the same Expense Code.
Automatic
generation of unique Transaction references (based on transaction date) when the transaction is not a cheque.
The BACK button, for jumping between accounts Since
you will frequently need to look at a statement in another account, your statement number, or "position", is saved if you make another selection. View the other account, then use a "Back" button
to return to the original account, at the precise "position". Purpose: Reduces hunting for Banks and Statement Numbers.
The RECENT pop-up Each time you select a new account, the position (Bank Account&Statement No) is added to a "Recent" list.
Select from the "Recent" pop-up to re-visit an account, at the precise statement as last viewed. Purpose: Reduces hunting for Banks and Statement Numbers.
