About this database. I decided to take a few photos of four parks
in Belfast for use in a demonstration of Ideas Genie to the Parks Department of Belfast City Council. I discovered a vast expanse of floral delights, and proceeded to make many trips after the demo
to catch the magnificent vista changes. The result is an extensive collection of digital photos of Camellias, Rhododendrons, Deciduous Azaleas, the planting in and around the walled gardens and the
Japanese Garden.
The Parks featured are the Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, Grovelands (Musgrave Park), Victoria Park and the Park on the Lisburn Road.
I now realise why my late father was so fond of “a day out” in Lady Dixon park!
